Rama Krishna beach is known as RK beach in short form. It is the famous beach in Vizag cause of it scenic beauty and several attractions nearby to it such as a submarine museum, a Kali temple, TU 142 aircraft museum, Vizag musuem, 5star hotels etc. RK Beach got the name from the philosopher and spiritual leader Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa ashram near beach.
