🌧️ Vizag’s Rain Brings Relief, But Water Crisis Continues

Vizag received several spells of rain over the past three days, offering temporary relief from the recent dry weather.

However, the rainfall was not strong enough to significantly recharge the city’s groundwater. Borewells in several neighbourhoods reportedly remain dry.

Many apartment communities are still depending on municipal and private water tankers for their daily requirements. The shortage has become particularly difficult for larger residential complexes.

More sustained rainfall is needed across Vizag and its surrounding catchment areas to improve groundwater levels and local water availability.
