🏘️ Vizag’s Expansion Faces Mixed Reactions

Vizag is growing, but the proposed expansion is getting different reactions from the villages involved.

As discussions continue over bringing more surrounding panchayats into the wider Visakhapatnam urban region, some residents see the move as an opportunity for better roads, infrastructure and urban services.

Others are worried about higher taxes, changes to local administration and whether villages will actually benefit from the merger.

In Anandapuram mandal, reports indicate that some panchayats supported the proposal while others opposed it, showing that the expansion isn't being viewed the same way everywhere.

For Vizag, this is more than just drawing a bigger boundary.

The real question is: will expansion bring better opportunities for these villages, too? 🏙️💙
