✈️ Vizag’s City Limits Move Towards Bhogapuram?

Vizag is growing north, and now there’s a bigger conversation around Bhogapuram and its connection with the city. 🌆✈️

Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has been pushing for greater integration of the areas between Vizag and Bhogapuram, as the new international airport brings more activity to the corridor.

This isn’t just about changing a boundary.

Bringing surrounding areas into GVMC could mean planning roads, transport, public services and future development as one larger urban region.

Earlier proposals included 64 panchayats across Bheemili, Anandapuram and Padmanabham being brought under GVMC.

And with Bhogapuram now serving as the region’s new aviation gateway, the connection between Vizag → Bheemili → Bhogapuram is becoming increasingly important. ✈️🏙️

But this is still a proposal, not a completed merger.

Vizag may be getting bigger. The question is how far north the city will eventually stretch. 💙
