Vizag Ranks 755th in Global Cities Index 🌍

Visakhapatnam ranks 755th out of 1,000 cities in the Oxford Economics Global Cities Index 2026.

The index looks at five areas: economy, people and skills, quality of life, environment, and governance. It is an overall comparison, rather than a ranking of tourism or beauty.

Among the four Andhra Pradesh cities listed, Guntur ranks 739th, followed by Vizag at 755th, Nellore at 893rd and Vijayawada at 932nd. Vizag’s environment ranking, at 959th, is its weakest category in the report.

The ranking offers a way to see where the city is doing well and where it has room to improve.
