Vizag Railway Station Gets 24/7 Emergency Medical Centre


Visakhapatnam Railway Station now has a 24/7 emergency medical centre at Platform No. 1.

Set up in partnership with Pinnacle Hospitals, the facility provides basic first aid and emergency care at minimal charges. A doctor, pharmacist and assistant will be available round the clock.

The centre has oxygen support, a defibrillator, wheelchairs, stretchers and an on-call ambulance, ensuring faster medical assistance for passengers during emergencies.

The centre was inspected following its inauguration by senior railway and hospital officials, including Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Sharath Babu, cardiologist Dr. G.V. Reddy, Medical Superintendent Dr. Krishna Nayak and hospital administrator Ch. Indira.
