Vizag Metro Awaits Centre’s Final Approval 🚇

The Vizag Metro Rail project is awaiting final statutory and financial clearances from the Central Government.

The revised Phase I plan covers 46.23 km with 43 stations, at an estimated cost of ₹11,498 crore.

Officials are coordinating with Union ministries.

Funding is proposed through Central and State contributions, along with external financing.

After approval, route demarcation and construction tenders can move forward. No construction start date has been announced in the report.
