The Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), a DRDO lab based in Visakhapatnam, has transferred two indigenous technologies to Indian companies.
🔹 Submarine Fired Decoy “Mohini” → Bharat Dynamics Limited
🔹 LM2500 Gas Turbine technology → Vertex Engineering Systems
In simple terms, technology developed in Vizag’s defence research ecosystem is now moving towards Indian industry for manufacturing.
It’s another reminder that Vizag isn’t only a port and industrial city. There’s serious defence technology being developed here too. ⚓🔬
