Vizag Gets an Exclusive NIA Special Court ⚖️

Visakhapatnam now has a dedicated NIA Special Court at the VMRDA Complex in Siripuram. It will hear cases from across Andhra Pradesh involving terrorism and other offences covered under national security laws.

The court was inaugurated on September 22 by Andhra Pradesh High Court judge Justice Battu Devanand. D. Seshaiah has been appointed its first Presiding Officer.

With cases from across the state now coming to Vizag, the new court gives Andhra Pradesh a dedicated place to hear NIA matters. The NIA’s Vizag branch office is located in Swarnabharathi Nagar, Rushikonda.
