🏠 Velampeta Housing Project Begins Today

The foundation stone for the redevelopment of Lakshmi Nagar, Velampeta, was laid today at 8 AM. 🏗️

GVMC plans to build a modern multi-storeyed housing complex at the same location for 177 families. Each eligible family will receive a free 410 sq. ft. flat with essential facilities.

Residents have temporarily vacated the site, where clearing and levelling work is already underway. They will receive rental assistance during construction.

The project is planned as a pilot for similar housing redevelopment across Vizag. ✨
