🛣️ Six-Lane Road Planned from Anakapalli to Rajahmundry

Travelling between North Andhra and Rajahmundry could become smoother, with a six-lane highway proposed from Anakapalli to Rajahmundry.

Anakapalli MP C.M. Ramesh said the project’s detailed report has been completed and is currently awaiting Cabinet approval. The tender process is expected to begin after the approval.

The plan also includes six railway overbridges and six railway underbridges along the route to reduce traffic interruptions and improve connectivity.

🚗 A separate proposal is being prepared to expand the busy road between Vizag Steel Plant and Anakapalli from four lanes to six lanes. A flyover at Lankelapalem has also been proposed.

These projects are still awaiting approvals, and construction timelines haven’t been announced yet.
