🚦 Secretariat Employees End Vizag Protest After Assurance

Ward and village secretariat employees from six North Andhra districts held a protest in Vizag over their pending demands.

Hundreds of employees gathered near the GVMC Gandhi statue before blocking roads around RTC Complex and LIC Junction. Traffic in the area was affected from the afternoon until around 9 PM.

The employees demanded solutions concerning salaries, promotions and job security. Officials held discussions with their association representatives as the protest continued.

The protest ended after the state director of the department spoke with the employees’ leaders and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
