Rain Leaves Vizag Roads Full of Potholes 🚧

After days of heavy rain, motorists across Vizag are dealing with potholes, standing water and slippery roads.

The stretch between Kancharapalem and Railway New Colony is among those badly affected. Damage on Port Road from Convent Junction towards Sheela Nagar Junction, and on the Jagayyapalem–Tunglam–Kurmannapalem route.

Residents in Gajuwaka, Duvvada and Madhurawada have raised concerns about difficult and unsafe commutes. Drivers should slow down, especially where rainwater hides potholes.

GVMC officials told that more than 12 km of roads have been identified as damaged and repair work will be taken up soon.
