Rain has stopped in parts of Anakapalli district, but water is still flowing into several reservoirs after last week’s downpour.

As of Sunday, Raiwada stood at 105.75 metres, with an inflow of about 500 cusecs. Konam reached 95.6 metres, up from 91 metres the previous Sunday.

Pedderu stood at 134.6 metres, while Kalyanapulova rose only slightly to 439 feet. The reservoirs have not all filled to capacity.

Officials have paused some irrigation releases because fields already have rainwater. Raiwada continues to supply water for GVMC’s drinking-water needs.
