🌬️ New Traffic Signals & Air-Quality Equipment Coming to Vizag

GVMC is planning to introduce an automated traffic signalling system across Vizag to improve traffic movement and reduce vehicle pollution. 🚦

The new system is expected to adjust traffic signals based on vehicle flow. This could reduce unnecessary waiting, congestion and fuel consumption at busy junctions.

The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board is also installing air-quality monitoring equipment worth ₹3 crore across the state to track pollution levels more effectively. 📡

The announcement was made during a clean-air awareness programme organised on Beach Road. A timeline for installing the signals in Vizag has not yet been announced.
