✈️ International Flights from Bhogapuram Soon

Passengers from North Andhra may soon be able to fly directly to international destinations, including the U.S., Europe, and Australia, from the new Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.

The airport, inaugurated on August 1, will begin commercial operations from August 17. Andhra Pradesh Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the government is working to introduce international connectivity, eliminating the need for travelers to transit through Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, or Mumbai.

In addition, 2–3 more daily flights to Hyderabad and Bengaluru are proposed, while new domestic services to Coimbatore, Pune, and Varanasi are also in the pipeline. The government has set an immediate target of handling 50 lakh passengers annually, positioning Bhogapuram as a major aviation hub for the region.
