Hill Cutting in Yendada Raises Safety Concerns ⛰️

Hill areas in Yendada are being cut and levelled for residential plots. At Durganagar, Survey No. 1, the excavation is close to an existing house, with loose rock and soil piled beside it.

Similar activity has been reported around Rajiv Nagar, Shanti Nagar and Subhash Nagar. Plots created by levelling hill land are reportedly being offered for ₹50 lakh to ₹60 lakh.

The cutting has raised concerns about nearby homes, especially during heavy rain. Questions have also been raised about whether the land and excavation work are being properly checked by the authorities.
