GVMC Removes Stalls Near Gajuwaka Ganapathi 🚨

GVMC officials, supported by police, have started removing temporary commercial stalls surrounding the Koti Gaajula Ganapathi at Srinagar in Gajuwaka.

Workers dismantling banners, tarpaulin sheds and stall structures, with a JCB deployed at the site. The action reportedly follows concerns about crowd movement, traffic congestion and public safety.

Officials had earlier inspected the premises and reportedly instructed the organisers to clear unauthorised stalls and additional paid attractions established around the pandal.

The action is against the surrounding commercial setups, not the 117-foot Ganapathi idol or the main pandal.
