⚡ Free Electricity for Ganesh Mandapams

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced free electricity for Ganesh mandapams across the state during the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations. 🛕✨

Ganesh mandapams across Vizag can also receive the benefit. Organisers must obtain the required permission and use an officially approved electricity connection.

GVMC has asked organisers to ensure safe wiring, proper generator installation and fire-safety arrangements. Mandapams should not be set up near transformers, electric poles or high-tension lines.

The free-power decision is expected to reduce the expenses of festival committees while encouraging safer celebrations. 🙏
