🩺 Door-to-Door Leprosy Survey from September 11

Health teams will conduct a door-to-door leprosy-detection survey across Visakhapatnam district from September 11 to 24.

ASHA workers and male health workers will visit households and check residents for numbness or unusual patches on the skin.

People with suspected symptoms will undergo further medical examinations. If diagnosed, they will receive free multidrug treatment through government health services.

Officials have requested residents to cooperate with the teams. Leprosy is completely curable, and early treatment can prevent disability.
