Direct Vizag–Narasapur Train Sought 🚆

A railway users’ representative has renewed the request for a direct train between Visakhapatnam and Narasapur.

Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee member Manchamurthi Eswar said that, since earlier services were withdrawn, passengers have had to change trains at places such as Nidadavolu or Bhimavaram. He said this is especially difficult for senior citizens, patients and families travelling late at night.

According to the report, an RTI reply from October 2024 said the final decision rests with the Railway Board. A direct service has not been announced.
