95 Parawada Industries Get Pollution Notices đź’§
The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board has issued show-cause notices to 95 industries in the Parawada JN Pharma City area of Anakapalli district.
The action followed complaints about black water and a foul smell in drains and stormwater channels near Pharma City. Videos showing the water were also shared on social media.
Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan directed officials to inspect the area. APPCB officials inspected the drains, collected water samples and asked the industries to submit reports.
The notices are part of an investigation. The source of the pollution has not yet been established in the newspaper report.
