🇳🇵 28 Vizag Pilgrims Escape Nepal Flood Disaster

A group of 28 pilgrims from Visakhapatnam, travelling towards Kailash Mansarovar, narrowly escaped the devastating floods along the Nepal–China border. Thankfully, all 28 are safe in Kathmandu. 🙏
🚨 A Timely Warning
The group had been delayed during their journey, including a stop for tea and a restroom break. As their vehicle approached a bridge near the China border, a landslide suddenly struck.
A tempo driver travelling in the opposite direction alerted them, allowing their bus driver to move towards higher ground and get the pilgrims to safety.
🙏 Safe in Kathmandu
The pilgrims, including eight members of one family, are now safe in Kathmandu and are expected to return home. The group reportedly witnessed other buses being swept away during the disaster.
The wider Nepal–Tibet flood disaster has severely affected routes used by Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims, with rescue operations continuing across the region.
A frightening journey that could have ended very differently, but a few unexpected delays and a timely warning helped bring 28 Vizag pilgrims to safety. ❤️🙏
