🏥 ₹2,000 Crore AIG Hospital Coming to Vizag

Visakhapatnam is set to get a major new healthcare campus, with AIG Hospitals planning a ₹2,000 crore investment at Yendada. The foundation stone is scheduled to be laid by AP Minister Nara Lokesh on August 31.

🏥 The project is planned across about 9 acres, with a 1,000-bed hospital, 50+ medical specialties, advanced healthcare facilities and a 2.5-acre nursing college. Reports also mention research facilities and capacity for around 5,000 OPD visits a day.

👩‍⚕️ The project is expected to create around 9,000 jobs and strengthen Vizag’s position as a healthcare destination, potentially reducing the need for patients from North Andhra to travel to Hyderabad for specialised treatment.
