10 New IT Projects Approved for Vizag

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board has approved 10 IT projects worth ₹526.25 crore, primarily proposed for Visakhapatnam.

Deloitte plans to establish a 2,500-seat operations centre with an investment of ₹43.75 crore. Muthoot FinCorp has proposed a 2,400-seat IT and AI centre with an investment of ₹100 crore.

Together, these two projects are expected to create nearly 5,000 direct employment opportunities in the city.

Seven of the approved projects reportedly focus on quantum technology, strengthening Vizag’s position as an emerging technology hub.
