₹1,838 Crore Water Projects for Vizag

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch five major water supply and infrastructure projects worth ₹1,838 crore during his Vizag visit on September 19.

The biggest among them is a ₹725 crore project designed to provide 24/7 water supply across Madhurawada and nearby areas.

Another ₹446 crore project will focus on reducing water leakage and improving continuous supply in North-West Vizag. Advanced meters, automation and central monitoring will also be introduced.

The remaining projects include ₹400 crore for water and sewerage works, a ₹150 crore industrial water pipeline from Narava, and ₹117 crore to modernise existing bulk water connections.

These projects aim to reduce water loss and improve supply as Vizag continues to expand.
